Just Right Air owner, Dan Dearden, has had a lifelong commitment to community service. It started when he was a young service technician for one of his earliest employers who had a relationship with Assist Utah, a non-profit which operates a home repair service as part of their community offering. So when Dan founded his own company, he sought out a community service partner where he thought his participation could have the most impact. He ultimately chose Habitat for Humanity.
Most recently, Just Right Air installed the home comfort system in a Habitat for Humanity house which was completed in May of this year. The homeowner was a single mother. Just Right Air employees donated their time one Saturday in April, while the company donated the hardware to complete the job.
It was gratifying to be involved in this project which enabled a young single mother to contribute her own sweat-equity along with other community members (like the employees of Just Right Air) and end up with an energy efficient home for her and her daughter.
It enabled Just Right Air employees to act on some of our core values, including service, family, teamwork, and work hard while having fun. You can watch a short video about the project here!
